The Rec Center has cards for a fundraiser for a inside and out car wash in a heated garage. Does your car need a cleaning? Have it cleaned anytime from now until May 2019 for only $50 for a full inside and out cleaning and a touch up on a different day. A great Christmas Idea!!! The cards can be purchased at the Rec until December 31st only!
Sara Litterio will be teaching some classes at the Rec in December. Here is the breakdown:
In December we will have a free will donation for class sessions. These classes are:
December 5 through 7 and December 12th through 14th
Wednesdays 10 am gentle yoga - Wednesdays 4 pm chair yoga
Thursdays 3:45 pm buti yoga
Friday 9:30 am (or 10 am) power yoga
We would like to offer more classes in January and February. Sarah is interested in teaching different levels. Please stoop by one or all of the December classes to see which session works for you!

The Season of lights at the Rec is all about the community. Together, we recognize those who are important to us with the gift of light. You can honor, thank or remember a friend or family member with a holiday greeting (and special this year a day pass at the the Rec, too). Their names will be read and their lights will shine at the Season of lights program.
For a minimum of $5 (for this challenge year, please consider $10 per name, especially because each recipient will receive a Rec pass that does the $10 per name) holiday greetings will be sent to your list of friends and family.
We will also have a drawing that night for $100 towards a 2019 membership. All current annual members are eligible fro this door prize.
Look for Season of light forms at the Rec Center. You can use a credit card online to pay for lights at www.moslingreccenter.org. a form can then be emailed to you for names and addresses.
Please join us at the Rec on December 17th at 6 pm to celebrate, visit, eat and be merry!
The Rec will once again be hosting the Black Friday Sale this year on Friday, November 23rd, 2018 from 10 am to 3 pm. Your one-stop shopping for Christmas. Support your local businesses and arts and craft people. There will be a lot of talent shown off. Lunch, coffee and sweets with be available for purchase.
Run on the Island! Our community, rich in natural beauty and wildlife is nestled in the waters of Lake Michigan. The course of the runs/walks start and end at the Rec Center and will take you past meadows, woods, a vineyard and one of the best vistas on the island. Enjoy the wildflowers and birds you’ll encounter along the course. You will follow the course markers for your particular event. Terrain is asphalt roads with some gentle inclines, so bring your running shoes accordingly. 2K, 5K and 10K. Click here for more info and registration form.
This year is the 30th anniversary of the dedication of the Rec Center and we invite you to help us celebrate. A health fair will be part of the early afternoon's event. The Washington Island Health Program (WICHP) is partnering with us on the health fair.
Free will collections for the Rec Center will be eligible to be matched in the Revenue Challenge.
