Rec Center Fee Waiver Program for Residents and Property Owners

The Town of Washington adopted a policy establishing who qualifies for a fee waiver at the Washington Island Mosling  Recreation Center and how eligibility is verified. The policy ensures fair and consistent rules for granting fee waivers  based on residency, property ownership, or family relationship within the Town of Washington.

Who Is eligible? A fee waiver may be granted to residents, property taxpayers (including owners through LLCs,  corporations, or trusts), immediate family members or legal guardians of an eligible resident or property taxpayer,  including spouses or partners, children under 18, legal dependents, and individuals under legal guardianship.

How do I get a fee waiver? Waivers will be available at the Rec Center when you fill out your Rec Center Membership  application. They are also available online at www.washingtonisland-wi.gov/mosling-recreation-center

How do I prove residency or property ownership? Applicants must show appropriate documents (such as tax bills,  Driver’s License, utility bill, or a residential lease) to confirm eligibility. Waivers are reviewed and verified by Rec Center  staff along with the rest of the membership application. Providing false information can result in denial or revocation. Waivers are valid only for the calendar year applied for and must be renewed annually.
